Redwell Fisheries Park
Redwell Fisheries Park lies in a secluded dip in the landscape surrounded by mature greenery and wildlife.
The lakes themselves are a fisherman’s paradise, and are well stocked with carp, bream, tench, rudd and many other varieties. Lodge guests can enjoy the fishing, or you can simply enjoy the peace and quiet and views from your lounge or decking instead.
You don’t have to fish to appreciate the environment, but if you do the fishing will no doubt prove to be a wonderful draw for you. Other regular visitors to the park include herons, cormorants, blue jays and lots of other wild birds in addition to the families of ducks resident on the lakes. The park’s countryside location makes it a wonderful starting point for cycle rides and walks, and a great base for a wide variety of other activities locally too.
Ideally suited to couples or mature families, there are great dining options nearby, including the local pub which is within easy walking distance.
